Join us at the Cathedral Church of All Saints, 1330 Cathedral Lane (formerly Martello St.), at 7:30 on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 for LunaSea's annual fundraiser, Carols in the Cathedral. Host Martha Irving and the 12th Night Choir are joined by special guests to ring in the season with candlelight, songs, dancing, and carol sing-alongs. There will be a silent auction of last minute gift ideas and a sale of baked goods and hot cider to enjoy during the concert.

Half Cracked the Legend of Sugar Mary at the Library!

Join us June 13th at 7:30pm in Rm 301 of the Halifax Central Library  Mary-Colin Chisholm will read from her play and discuss the unlikely origins of stories and the playwrighting process.

Then on June 16th at pm  at the 5676 North Street Church  Eastern Front's Stages Festival will present a staged reading of 'Half Cracked: The Legend of Sugar Mary" with Margaret Smith, Christian Murray and Ryanne Chisholm under the direction of Martha Irving.  

And coming next fall - the world premiere of  "Well Heeled" by Lisa Cochrane!  "Well Heeled" follows documentary filmmaker Kirsten who finds her new subject in Arnold: Halifax's most notable cross-dresser is a man of humble origins and exquisite taste in fashionable footwear.  The process of unveiling Arnold's life leads Kirsten to an unexpected healing of her own...
